q: what forms of payment do you accept?
a: we accept visa, mastercard, and American express payments.
q: when do you charge my credit card?
a: we don’t charge your credit card until your order is ready to go out the door!
q: how much are my shipping fees going to be?
a: shipping fees are based on the weight of your order.
.00 lb - .50 lb = $1.50 (approx. 10 cards or less)
.51 lb - .99 lb = $3.00 (approx. 10 - 20 cards)
1.0 lb - 1.99 lb = $5.00 (approx. 20 - 40 cards)
2.0 lb or more = free shipping! (over 40 cards)
q: how long does it take to get my stationery?
a: we’re typically able to ship your order within two business days. during our busy seasons, it may take a little longer. items are shipped via us mail. if you need your products in a hurry, please make a note of it when you order.
q: do you ship overseas?
a: if you are outside the united states, we will be happy to talk to you about your shipping needs. please e-mail us with the products you are interested in and we will get you a quote for shipping.
q: will you ship my order to someone else as a gift?
a: sure! no problem. we even offer gift wrapping for those special gifts. just be sure to fill out the appropriate section in the shopping cart!
q: will you make me some custom stationery?
a: as of right now, we are not offering customized stationery. it is, however, something we may offer in the future.
q: what if I’m not happy with my purchase once it arrives?
a: well, we’d be very surprised, but if you’re seriously unhappy with your products, please contact us within 10 days and we will make arrangements for a refund minus shipping fees.
q: what if I want more information on a product before I order it?
a: just contact us at violet@shadesofviolet.com and we will do our best to answer your questions.
q: what if I have a coupon or discount code?
a: lucky you! just enter the code in the coupon code box when you check out!
q: will you give my e-mail out to everyone you know?
a: no way! we will never give, sell, or otherwise hand out your e-mail to anyone. promise.
q: do I get any special treats for joining your mailing list?
a: those special people who join our mailing list will get periodic e-mails to update you on new products and specials. plus, members of our mailing list will also receive special coupons throughout the year to be used in our shop! we promise to keep updates to a minimum. we know how annoying it is to be inundated with e-mails! fyi: if you make a purchase from our shop, we will automatically add you to our special friends list! if you’d like to be removed from the list click here.
